Migrations from different countries led The United States of America to become a melting pot a pot which contains a variety of people and their cultures all around the globe Therefore their cultural development process in terms of art and politics affected the world and us itself Throughout the history of The United States of American there were many movies singers and political events that represented their culture to the world But in this very paper in terms of representing the U S with its culture I will point out the significances of the movie Saving Private Ryan the singer Louis Daniel Armstrong and political event The Emancipation Proclamation American patriotism is Americans cultural attachment to the United States as their homeland The freedom and the safety of the homeland is the key figure in patriotism and in order to provide a concrete security a nation should have a strong army This is the main reason of why Americans feel attached to their army As a movie Saving Private Ryan touches upon the patriotic culture of the United States Steven Spielberg as the director of the movie narrates a mission about saving an American mother s last child Private Ryan s other brother are all died in the war so it is important for the government to ensure Ryan s return safely to his mother In the movie saving private Ryan becomes such an important matter even United States Army General George C Marshall rejects his advisors who are depicting the dangers and low success rate of the mission by saying If the boy s alive we are gonna send somebody to find him and we are gonna get him the hell out of there As Fehlman states in World War II Films and Patriotism in America they were fighting for their country and were in many instances just doing what they were told 6 7 in the movie we see that a group of soldiers under the command of Captain John H Miller and their obedience to their commander the orders and the mission itself 

There are many important singers like Jimmie Rodgers Elvis Presley and B B King to represent and portray US culture and Louis Daniel Armstrong aka Satchmo with his own style of pursuing his art is one of them In the beginning of the 1900s a new type of music was born in New Orleans Since the New Orleans was a port city that brings people of different ethnic groups together in a harmony it was a perfect spot to create a new genre of music Armstrong was also born in New Orleans in 1901 he had a tough childhood especially after his father William Armstrong abandoned his family In his youth Armstrong was in poverty Morris Karnoffsky the owner of the shop Armstrong was working advanced him some money to buy his first cornet Armstrong used his very first cornet to attract new customers to the shop and then in his eleven he dropped out of school and joined a band to sing in the streets for money He served time in a house of correction and improved his skills in music there After his release he worked on a cruise ship to earn his living Armstrong never left his stance against harsh living conditions and he ended up as a famous man who contributed Jazz music by becoming the first soloist trumpet player Thus he made a huge contribution to Jazz music to become much more famous in the world His self made man type of living his stance against the world and with his thousand teeth in his mouth he both lived and represented the American Dream His songs like
