Major sources of water pollution are heavy metals drugs pesticides and dyes etc Water from textile industries contain large amount of dyes Mixing of this industrial water with fresh water reservoir without any treatment poses a serious threat to aquatic life and also for humans Therefore treatment of this wastewater is essential Biosorption is one of the efficient and inexpensive method for the removal of dyes In this research bio waste material used as adsorbent and various biocomposites will be prepared to enhance the biosorption potential Various parameters such as temperature pH biosorbent dose and time will be optimized for the dye adsorption For characterization of biocomposites SEM and FTIR will be used Different kinetic and equilibrium models will be used for this biosorption study Obtained data will be statistically analysed using regression analysis
