Schiff base condensation products of primary amines with carbonyl compounds also known as anils imines or azomethines contain a lone pair of electrons on the sp2 hybridized nitrogen atom of the imine moiety Due to their facile preparation synthetic flexibility and the biocidal properties of the imine group Schiff bases are considered as privileged ligands Cytotoxicity activity of Ru II Cl2PMDPcomplex was carried out against MCF 7 cell line at different concentrations to determine the IC50 50 growth inhibition by MTT assay Results of different concentrations of Ru II Cl2PMDPcomplex including 6 25 12 5 25 50 and 100 µg ml are tabulated in Table MCF 7 cells incubated with Ru II Cl2PMDPcomplex at 6 25 12 5 and 25 µg ml the amount of formazan was similar to control cells while in other cells it was distinctly lower the quantity of formazan produced varied between different concentration of Ru II Cl2PMDPcomplex treated cells as shown in Fig The formation of formazan crystals decreases when the concentration of Ru II Cl2PMDPcomplex increases in MCF 7 cells MTT assay of Ru II Cl2PMDPcomplex showed significant effect on MCF 7 cell line in a concentration range between 50 µg ml to 100 µg ml compared with control This Ru II Cl2PMDPcomplex exerts high cytotoxicity in 100 µg ml concentration against MCF 7 cell line with 23 86 percent of cell growth inhibition The IC50 values of Ru II Cl2PMDPcomplex on MCF 7 was 30 17 µg ml In addition the cytotoxicity activity of Ru II Cl2PMDPcomplex was carried out against HT 29 cell line at different concentrations to determine the IC50 50 growth inhibition by MTT assay
Refugees are people often from another country that leave their homes because of fear of staying Refugees have many challenges through their transition and even finding a way to transition The hardships Ha faces in the book Inside Out and Back Again by Thanhha Lai are very similar problems that real refugees encounter Ha is the main character and narrator in the book Inside Out and Back Again and she is a 10 year old child that lives in Vietnam in 1975 at the time of the vietnam war She and her family made an attempt to leave saigon before it was destroyed by the communists When trying to leave home she faced having little food and water and losing her father She and her family made it out alive and went to live in the United States and still had challenges like culture and discrimination Refugees usually experience very difficult challenges to face when leaving and finding home in the real world as well The Refugees likely have to deal with grief of losing family members when they are leaving In the book Inside Out and Back Again by Thanhha Lai Ha has to struggle with the loss of her father throughout the book and in the poem Birthday Wishes she writes wish father would come home so I can stop daydreaming that he will appears in my classroom 31 In this quote
