Discussion Oral malodor was apparent problem among general population and evidences exposed that it forms about 85 of all bad breath 13 It affects peoples of all ages mostly during morning hours This study demonstrated halitosis among OPD patients of different age groups with different factors but most of our results have shown confinement with previous studies on halitosis and some new observations The current study focus on knowledge attitude and practice regarding halitosis In previous study 13 shows that out of 57 reporting bad breath 30 were adults 50 years of age and above in his study on halitosis and its relationship with mouth breathing observed among total individuals having mouth breathing and halitosis approximately 70 were 14 16 years of age children A similar study was also done by another researcher 14 who found 75 of total respondents having oral malodor and breathing via mouth to be children age 12 14 years
