Albert Einstein was a German physicist and mathematician who developed many theories and new discoveries throughout his life Albert was born in Württemberg Germany on March 14 1879 Very soon after Albert was born his entire family decided to move to Munich where he began his education at the Luitpold Gym Later on in his life his family made another move to Italy and Albert continued his studies at Aarau Switzerland In 1896 Albert was enrolled in the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich and was trained to be a teacher in physics and mathematics Albert received his diploma in 1901 and in 1905 he obtained his doctor s degree Albert would work on new discoveries in his free time and by 1909 he became Professor Extraordinary at Zurich Many years later Albert became a German citizen in 1914 Albert was living in Berlin until he renounced his citizenship due to the Nazi party targeted his work Albert emigrated to American and became the Professor of Theoretical Physics at Princeton Albert gained his United States citizenship in 1940 and retired in 1945 Albert later died on April 18 1955 due to an abdominal aortic aneurysm Albert is considered one of the most influential physicists of the 20th century due to the way that he revolutionized the way that we look at the world Albert Einstein throughout his life made countless discoveries and theories however his most famously known discoveries include the Special and General Theory of Relativity the concept of mass energy equivalence and his development of the famous equation E mc² Albert also received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1921 for his contributions to theoretical physics and for his contributions to the early development of quantum physics His best known discovery is his Theory of Relativity His theory changed the way that scientists viewed the world and set a foundation for inventions that include nuclear bombs and nuclear energy This theory is so important because at the time it was a new concept that took the place of the existing and accepted theories by Sir Isaac Newton on he Law of Universal Gravitation His theory shows that acceleration and gravity are indistinguishable and it changed the way that past an modern day scientists view everything This theory also predicted the existence of black holes an expanding universe time dilation length contraction gravitational light bending and finally the curvature of space time

These predictions allowed for more discoveries to occur in the near and far future His other major discovery was the development of the equation E mc² This equation is so important because it gave birth to the atomic bomb In his equation E stands for energy the M stands for mass and finally the C stands for the speed of light squared This equation is the most famous equation ever created and it led to further discoveries in his theory of relativity Throughout his life he also discovered many smaller but important discoveries that would lead to a new foundation for modern physics In 1905 Albert discovered a concept that light is made of small particles called Photons This discovery is debatable amongst current ay scientists however it led to more discoveries and branched off into different concepts Another great discovery made by Albert was the Bose Einstein Condensate Albert worked along side another famous scientist named Satyendra Bose and they discovered another state of matter This is discovery is being applied more so now in modern days and is used in lasers and superconductors The final larger discovery that Albert worked on was the Atomic bomb Albert worked along side many other brilliant scientists to develop the Atomic bomb Albert did not want to work directly on the bomb however his name is closely tied in with the invention and specifically his work on energy and mass Albert made a huge impact on modern day physics and would leave a lasting legacy behind him Albert died due to a ruptured aneurysm on April 18 1955 in New Jersey Albert leaves behind a long lasting legacy in both physics and mathematics but also philosophy His legacy is passed on philosophy because many modern day philosophers view his theory of relativity as more of a spiritual and idealistic view of the universe

His more important legacy has to do with physics Albert fueled modern day physics by essentially rewriting the laws of physics Albert worked very hard on new discoveries for quantum physics the atomic bomb and also derived an equation that is now seen as the most famous equation in the history of equations He however leaves behind his best work in his theory of relativity Albert Einstein is one of the most influential scientists and person to ever walk on this earth and he leaves behind his hard work and perseverance as a motivator for new discoveries and for physicists everywhere
