Statement of Purpose I would like to introduce myself as a young engineering undergraduate from Nepal Having done an inspiring course in Geomatics Engineering I would like to put to use this knowledge to do my Masters in Science This would give me the leading edge in technology and the information I require In the changing field of Engineering and Technology where each new day sees a outbreak of new concepts and applications and each passing day makes them outmoded I wish to have highest level of education and surpass new horizons When I think about the different principality of science and technology it is hard to think of a domain that is going to change the world as much as advanced software will in the decades ahead Use of powerful software instruments and its vast applications in real world fascinated me about Geomatics engineering and I am keen to continue my academic pursuit in this field A passion to achieve expertise in geospatial science and technologies and to be a part in the development of the technological workforce of my country are objectives to my Graduate study It would help deepen my skills earn proficiency and seek professional exposure 

A graduate course would lay a foundation to earn hands on experience and acquire specialization in the desired field of study The schooling and college education played a pivotal role in shaping my further studies and my future I was good at academics by being at 2 of the school by scoring 84 7 in my 10th grade My father being a mechanical engineer always inspired me to find joy in the field of science and engineering This made me choose faculty of science in my higher studies My enthusiasm towards science grew further more when I got enrolled in top science college of entire country St Xavier's College Maitighar Nepal There I studied mathematics physics and chemistry as my major subjects and scored 79 8 in aggregate I have also maintained in top 15 of my class at the undergraduate program by scoring I have done my undergraduate program in Geomatics Engineering under Department of Civil and Geomatics Engineering in Institute of Engineering Paschimanchal Campus Tribhuwan University Nepal The undergraduate program was interesting yet challenging because we were just second batch of Geomatics program under Tribhuwan University and many things were in the phase of development and growth During the course of my undergraduate study I was exposed to various courses with applications like 

Surveying Geodesy Photogrammetry Geographic Information System Remote Sensing Applied Physics Applied Mathematics Computing Techniques Adjustment of Observation Digital terrain modeling Programming languages and software namely MATLAB ERDAS ENVI and Arc GIS New but highly enthusiastic teachers and government laid facilities helped me to gain essential theoretical and practical knowledge needed for through understanding on wide range of subjects and provided me substantial motivation for choosing and completing final year project I was also involved in club for Geomatics called as Geomatics Engineering Association of Nepal GESAN where I served for one year working as a Vice President I believe the post graduation program of Masters in Geospatial Science Coursework offered by Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology RMIT will surely help me slake my thirst of knowledge and further motivate me to pursue my goals It's recognition as a top 250 universities in the world top 15 universities in Australia and a prestigious member of Australian Technology Network ATN has proven its reputation as world class global university Being highly industry linked and practical based university it provides a space to be innovative where students seemingly have a lot more personal space to improvise and can carry out their own project that might turn out to be something very big In addition to its academic excellence it is located in the heart of Melbourne city the most livable city in the world which makes it more desiring for any student as well as a place for lucrative experience too I have decided to study my post graduation in Australia because of its dynamic and excellent quality of education a vibrant country diversity and multiculturalism strong research based country and to experience the opportunities created by its technological advancement
