However the influences of a mother are something that can be felt and individuals who have that type of figure in their lives Hopefully the idea is that a mother is supposed to play the role of guidance direction power and of course strength for young men and young women However within both This Boy's Life by Tobias Wolff and The Other Wes Moore it is clear to see that the impact of the role of the mother can oftentimes be a source of guidance and misguidance This is part of the overall composition of how these two individuals have a relationship with their mother There was a sense of belonging in terms of Moore's mother which allowed him to become a scholar and of course be a very successful individual On the other hand the role of the mother in relationship to Wolff is drastically different and often times calls into question the very direction that his mother took him across the continental United States After taking some time to truly comprehend the comparative and contrasting role of both of these mother figures it is clear to see that the impact that a mother has is inspiring However the role as well as the bedrock that she plays can oftentimes be fractured especially if the focus is not on the child Both of these two authors clearly portray their mothers as being very different

One mother seems to be focused only on herself She is the source of greed as well as unrelenting Focus on becoming quickly rich without taking into consideration but the impact it may have on her young son Furthermore the second book written by Wes Moore clearly points out that the impact that his mother has is not only positive but also the bedroom for success The role that the mother has as well as the relationship that is created between her and her children is based upon the factors of love and misaligned direction From this perspective motherhood is not only inherent in terms of instincts However it seems to be that one mother is very much focused on becoming successful through her child On the other hand the mother depicted within Wolff s memoir is not only misguided but also running away from her own personal problems She is fleeing from a past that she does not want for her own child and this is part of what creates the relationship that is not only strain but also powerless I ve allowed some of these points to stand because this is a book of memory and memory has its own story to tell But I have done my best to make it tell a truthful story Wolff Of course there is a significant amount of disparity between both of the mothers as well as the relationship that they have between their children The first one is related to a relationship that is built upon wanting and needing some level of stability within life This is part of how the young Wolff is connected to his own mother She takes him from place to place never knowing any type of stability which causes his relationship to with her to be built on false hope negativity and personal desolation On the other hand the relationship that Moore has with his mother is built upon something that seems to be inherent to how every mother should act with her children She loves her son and created an environment in which she was able to allow her son to become successful in ways that she was never able to

The chilling truth is that his story could have been mine The tragedy is that my story could have been his Our stories are obviously specific to our two lives but I hope they will illuminate the crucial inflection points in every life the sudden moments of decision where our paths diverge and our fates are sealed It's unsettling to know how little separates each of us from another life altogether Moore This was part of the organic relationship that was not only part of how she was able to love her son but also show him the right path The mother was the bedrock for his success and she was able to have a level of connective appreciation when he reciprocated that through validating who she was The relationship was not only developed but also sustained through a mutual level of respect Mothers can be different and oftentimes this difference is sobering in terms of how human human beings are Mothers are not perfect rather there are human being that are learning understanding and oftentimes making mistakes This was the main foundation for how mothers were displayed throughout the entire narrative and it was a fascinating approach that expanded on the social expectations of how mothers should act and react From this individuals begin to learn that mothers as well as fathers and anyone that has the responsibility of another human is eventually capable of becoming greater than their own position and capacity From this the books were able to create the narrative and the framework for showing two different individuals who were succeeding and others failing their s
