Abstract in the present world many difficult challenges are being faced to improve the engine thermal efficiency in addition to the four stroke there are another four more strokes to improve the efficiency in this paper the eight stroke engine is explained in a theoretical way in this engine after completing four strokes ethanol is injected into the chamber so the process repeats as that of four strokes by this it will be able to complete eight strokes in the engine automobiles industry may be revolutionized for eight stroke design to increase the efficiency of the engine Keywords engine combustion heat efficiency Introduction One of the most difficult challenges is being faced by the world to improve the engine thermal efficiency The 8 stroke engine is an internal combustion engine with advanced features for more power generation In 8 stroke engine with the additional four strokes are added to the four stroke engine so by this as number strokes increase the efficiency of the engine where ethanol is used as fuel in the fifth stroke so when we inject ethanol into the cylinder the crank moves down then the ethanol injection valve closes the crank move upwards in the sixth stroke In the seventh stroke the compressed ethanol mixture is ignited with a spark plug then due to combustion the crank moves downward In the eighth stage the crank moves upwards when the burnt gases released through the exhaust value so by this engine completes 8 strokes in the cylinder In an eight stroke engine the injection of two fuels will be alternatively in sprayed into the cylinder it helps in reduction of fuels and gives more efficiency

WORKING OF EIGHTH STROKE ENGINE In the eight Strokes engine it consists of 8 processes in a complete cycle which I had specified in the introduction of eighth stroke engine The process of the eight stroke engine is similar to the six stroke engine consist only six processes in a complete cycle These 8 stroke processes are as 3 1 SUCTION STROKE First stroke During the first stroke the Inlet valves open and air fuel mixture air fuel Is sprayed into the cylinder through the inlet valve and piston moves from TDC to BDC in the cylinder 3 2 COMPRESSION STROKE SECOND STROKE During the second stroke piston moves from BDC to TDC the Both the inlet valve and exhaust valves are closed and the air fuel mixture is compressed and develops high pressure and temperature in the cylinder 3 3 FIRST POWER STROKE THIRD STROKE COMPRESSION STROKE During the third stroke as we know that in a second stroke the air fuel mixtures get compressed and develops high pressure and temperature As the power is obtained from the engine by igniting the compressed air fuel mixture using a spark plug Both valves remain closed Piston moves from TDC to BDC of the cylinder by this combustion stroke is completed 3 4 FOURTH STROKE EXHAUSTION STROKE During this exhaustion stroke the combustion of gases in the cylinder will be removed through exhaust valves So when the exhaust valve the burnt gases is removed through the exhaust valves from the engine cylinder So that The piston moves from BDC to TDC 3 5 FIFTH STROKE SECOND POWER STROKE During the fifth stroke the exhaust valves remain close and the water Inlet valves open Freshwater from the water Inlet valves enters the cylinders through the secondary water Induction system The piston moves from TDC to BDC in the cylinder 3

6 SIXTH STROKE SECOND EXHAUST STROKE During the sixth stroke the water exhaustion valve remains open at top of the cylinder The water sucked into the cylinder during the fifth stroke the water converted to steam due to the presence of high temperature and pressure so the mixture of gases is removed from cylinder to the surroundings through the water exhaust valve when The piston moves from BDC to TDC in the cylinder so by this six strokes will be completed 3 7 SEVENTH STROKE THIRD POWER STROKE During the seventh stroke the exhaust valves remain closed and the ethanol Inlet valves open Ethanol Inlet valves enters the cylinders through the another Induction system The piston moves from TDC to BDC 3 8 EIGHTH STROKE THIRD EXHAUST STROKE During the eight stroke the exhaust valves remain open The ethanol is sprayed into the cylinder during the seventh stroke is removed through the exhaust Valve into the surroundings The piston moves from BDC to TDC and by this eighth strokes are completed These are the process that occurs continuously in a sequential manner for starting the engine with the high amount of power and torque production with less fuel consumption The eight stroke engine may be further work in the otto and fuel cycle Advantages It helps in engine thermal efficiency It helps in reducing fuel consumption It reduces noise pollution Disadvantages The high manufacturing cost of eight stroke engine Engine size increases with increase in additional strokes Conclusion the eight stroke engine modification promise assures the changes in reduction of fuel consumption and increase in efficiency in the internal combustion engine this helps the automobile industry to make a great impact on the environment and world economy
