Create an account, run your first plagiarism check, and find your way around the dashboard.
Noplag checks your text against a large document corpus and reports every passage that overlaps with a known source — with the source shown, so you can verify each match yourself.
Your first check
Create an account
Sign up at noplag.app with an email address and password, or continue with Google or Microsoft. New accounts start on the free plan — no card required.
Submit your document
From the dashboard, start a new check: paste your text, upload a file (PDF, DOCX, TXT), or enter a URL. See Running a check for limits per input type.
Read the report
Reports are usually ready in 30 to 90 seconds and open when done. You can leave the page — checks run in the background.
Understand the result
The report shows an overall similarity percentage, the list of matched sources, and your text with matched passages highlighted. Every number in the report traces to specific passages and sources — nothing is a black-box score. Reading a report walks through each part.
What Noplag detects — and what it doesn't
Honest scope
Noplag's shipped engine detects verbatim and near-verbatim copying: text that matches a source directly or with light edits. Heavy paraphrase, translated plagiarism, and AI-generated writing are on the roadmap and are not detected today. We'd rather tell you that here than let a low score imply more than it means.
